As a subscriber, you gain access to our scheduling calendar to book classes, lessons, and activities according to your selected subscription level.
We generally follow the SSISD calendar, with up to 8 weeks of pre-scheduled closures annually for horse rest periods. Closure weeks will be communicated via our academic calendar.
Students are responsible for scheduling their own classes and lessons through our online scheduler. Please arrive on time, dressed in appropriate riding attire (riding boots with heels and jeans or riding pants). Respectful behavior is mandatory; please avoid running, horseplay, and ensure trash is disposed of properly.
Parents should remain outside the arenas during classes but are encouraged to observe from a distance. All drop-offs and pick-ups should occur in the stable lounge/office, particularly for younger children. Conferences with instructors should be scheduled via email at support@angiehugheshorsemanship.com and must occur outside of class time.
Angie Hughes Horsemanship (AHHA) reserves the right to record and photograph activities for promotional purposes. Consent is given to the use of these images and recordings.
AHHA does not guarantee specific performance outcomes. Progress depends on individual effort and consistent attendance.
Please cancel or reschedule lessons at least 24 hours in advance. Makeup lessons must be scheduled within 30 days of the missed lesson and are limited to 4 per year, including 2 personal days (with 24-hour notice) and 2 sick days (with less than 24-hour notice). Failure to follow this policy may result in charges without makeup opportunities.
In case of unsuitable riding conditions, mounted lessons may be replaced with unmounted ones. If SSISD closes due to weather, so do we. Rescheduling under these circumstances is not permitted.
A $65 annual registration fee ($125 for new students requiring a helmet) is due with the first month's tuition and each year on your student anniversary. Tuition is non-refundable and due by the 1st of each month. Late payments after the 8th will incur a $25 late fee.
Any services requested outside of this agreement will be charged to the credit/debit card on file at the time of service.
AHHA reserves the right to amend or modify rules, policies, and regulations at any time without prior notice.
A 60-day written notice is required for cancellation. No refunds will be provided, and any equipment left behind will be donated to the riding school.
For those interested in competitive riding, the Show Team membership is available for an additional $150 per month. Participation in both home and offsite NETXDC shows is required, with associated costs ranging from $100 to $600 per show.
For students interested in drill team skills and exhibition opportunities, the Quadrille Team membership offers a fun and challenging environment for $150 per month.
A lesson horse lease provides a consistent relationship with a school horse, enhancing riding skills without the long-term ownership responsibilities. Term options are available for 9 months or 12 months.
This agreement acknowledges the inherent risks associated with horseback riding and waives any claims against AHHA for injuries or losses sustained during participation.
This agreement authorizes AHHA to charge your credit card for services and fees as per the agreed terms. All payments are non-refundable, and chargebacks are prohibited.
Thank you for reviewing our policies. We look forward to helping you achieve your horse riding dreams!
